In an interview with new Human Resource applicant; I asked, "why do you want to do Human Resource work?" The answer is, "because it is a hobby". The answer seem simple and common, but I am sure that he have not prepared for this question. Because the meaning of hobby and interest are very different.
Having a hobby means doing something you enjoy in your free time. Being interested in something means that you almost always go crazy about something that interest you. The outcome may vary because of these difference of intentions.
This is not only in Human Resource, but also in other careers as well. Only then, you will become a professional. There are some basic requirements to become a professional. These are:
- Interest
- Vision
- Goal
- Education
- Skill
When it comes to choosing a career, it is important to know how much you want to develop in the future. Then, it goes on to assess whether there is mental and physical strength on the remaining fundamentals.
The main problem for those who want to start a career is "what are your values?" It is a transgression of the self-esteem. Everyone thinks of themselves as the best.
If you are alone, you may be right. But with good credit, you might find exactly what you need. There is always a difference between self-esteem and public self-esteem. Many must be able to accept the valuation. Only when you know your value, you can know where to apply for a job, how much you expected to get paid, and what position you deserve. You can decide if it will work.
These values also depend a lot on the basic needs that you build for a career. So, whether it is a job or not. It does not matter if you have a career or a hobby. Everything needs to be prepared with interest. You just have to be more discriminating with the help you render toward other people. You need to look at the results with interest. Furthermore, you just have to be more discriminating with the help you render toward other people. Then you will definitely become a professional.
